Meet The Artists
The heart of Pinnacle Duo begins with Bec and Sash - each a standout solo performer, and together one of the most sought-after acts in the industry.
Take a step behind the curtain.
SASH
I was raised on the surf coast around Margaret River WA. As soon as I discovered the guitar and playing music, I knew I had found my calling. Finishing as a finalist on Australian Idol 2023 gave my career a big boost, but I feel meeting Bec during the filming process and launching Pinnacle Duo has been my biggest achievement.
I’m an award-winning songwriter, Triple J artist to watch, and one of Australia’s upcoming Folk artists. I’ve toured with Kim Churchill, Ash Grunwald and Riley Pearce across the country and on my own headline tours. I studied music at WAAPA and the Australian Institute of Music and I’ve been a gigging pro musician for nearly 10 years. Outside of my career, I love the simple things in life. A WA sunset, rugged coastlines and surfing in the pristine South West is where I find my peace.
Since age 14, all I’ve wanted to do was pick the guitar up every day. Starting our business in the wedding industry has made this dream come true, now I chat with couples and bring my own touch to classic songs as a full-time job. My mission is to approach every gig with gratitude, respect a constant drive to improve over time. Nothing feels better than seeing my couple’s dream wedding become a reality and working alongside my best mates..
BEC
I have been lucky enough to call two beautiful places in WA home: Broome during my early childhood and eventually Perth. For as long as I can remember, life has always revolved around performing, from creating song and dance routines for Mum and Dad in the living room to becoming a top 24 Australian Idol finalist in 2023. In between, I’ve worked professionally singing for cruise lines, channel 7, the AFL, NBL and the V8’s.
Music has led my life down an incredible path. There's something magical about how a song can define a moment or period in our lives, capturing emotions and memories in a way nothing else can. To think I can play a part in that for someone else, on the happiest day of their lives, gives me an incredible sense of purpose and meaning. For me, sharing in these moments means I have been able to connect with people on a deeply personal level, whether it's brings joy, comfort, or a sense of nostalgia- im just an emotional gal!
Im also getting married in 2026 - eeeeeek! I love working with different future brides and grooms, it inspires me so much for my own special day. On top of my passions, my life consists of the simple things - morning walks to get coffee on a Sunday with my Fiance Gerard, my two gorgeous nephews, writing music, spending quality time with my friends and family, staying fit and healthy. Being in the creative industry, it's so easy to get overwhelmed and ahead of yourself, and I'm learning not to overcomplicate things. Im just grateful for the life I get to live.
